Your data
What GardyProp holds, how to get a copy, and what deletion actually does.
Your customers' data is yours. Here is what happens to it.
Getting a copy or asking a question
There is a data request form on the public site. Requests go to our legal address and are answered by a person.
Deleting your company
- Open Settings and go to the deletion section.
- GardyProp first shows what would be deleted — how many customers, pools, visits, photos.
- Type your company name exactly. No checkbox, no "are you sure?".
A checkbox gets clicked away; a name has to be read and copied. That is the difference between a confirmation and a hurdle — and this is the one action in the app that cannot be undone.
Deletion runs in a fixed order: the subscription is cancelled, then the stored files, then the records, and finally everything is counted again to confirm nothing was left behind.
Good to know
Cancelling and deleting are different things. Cancelling ends the subscription and leaves the data. Deletion removes it.
Photos and videos live in file storage, not in the database. That is why they are their own step in the deletion — and why a deletion that only removed database rows would leave the pictures behind.
What it does not do
There is no self-service export yet. You cannot download your customers and visits as a file from inside the app; a data request is currently the way, and it is answered by hand.
That gap matters most exactly when you are about to delete: take a copy first, by request, and only then delete.
