Teams

Two people, one van, one route — assign the team instead of the person.

Before you start

A team is a group of technicians who drive together. A route can be assigned to a team instead of a person.

Step by step

  1. Open Teams and create one.
  2. Add members.
  3. Optionally give the team a default vehicle.
  4. When planning a route, assign the team.

Good to know

Everyone in the team sees the route on their phone. There is no lead and no deputy — whoever opens their day gets it.

The team's default vehicle is the third link in the chain that decides where material comes off: the route's own vehicle first, then the technician's default, then the team's. See material used at the pool.

Personnel and Teams are separate on purpose. Everything about a person — including their cost — lives under Personnel. Teams only groups them. That split resolved an old contradiction where an hourly rate sat on the user and in a cost table.

What it does not do

A team has no schedule of its own. Who works when is not planned in GardyProp.

Working time is recorded per person, not per team — see working time.
