Users and roles

Everyone who works with GardyProp has their own account. There are two roles, and the difference is large.

Step by step

1. Open Personnel and press New.
2. Enter name and email.
3. Choose the role: - Admin — the whole app: customers, prices, routes, stock, figures. - Technician — the phone, and today's route on it.
4. Save. They receive an invitation.

Good to know

The owner is in this list too. Until 13 August 2026 the page only listed technicians, so the owner could never be given a cost rate — and in a one-person business the owner drives every single visit. The profitability figures could never show a labour line there, and the one-person business is the most common customer.

A technician sees markedly less, and not only in the interface: the address, the gate code and the alarm code are never sent to the device at all. See what the technician's phone does not carry.

Removing somebody from the team removes their access. A session already signed in on a phone that has gone missing is ended through their access, not by hiding anything.

What it does not do

There are no custom roles and no per-page permissions. Two roles, and the line between them is where a phone can be left in a van.

Deleting a person does not remove their history. Visits, photos and reports keep their author.
