When the customer decides

Yes or no through the link — and a yes turns the prospect into a customer.

Before you start

The customer decides in the quote itself. There is no email to interpret.

Step by step

  1. The customer opens the quote link.
  2. They accept or decline.
  3. On acceptance, GardyProp converts the prospect into a customer, and the agreed service price is set on the pool.

Good to know

Acceptance is what makes a customer, not a conversation, not a handshake in your inbox. Until then the record stays on the board, and your customer count stays honest.

The price is written the same way as any other price change — as a new row that supersedes, never as an overwrite. There is one place in GardyProp that sets a service price, and both routes go through it. Two routes to the same table would be two chances to treat the history differently. See the service price.

A decline is recorded, not deleted. A lost deal is information. It stays on the board under Lost.

What it does not do

Acceptance does not create sites or pools. Those are still created and surveyed — what the acceptance settles is the price and the status.

It is not a signature. GardyProp records that somebody with the link pressed accept, with the time. Whether that constitutes a contract is your law, not our software.
