The service report

Built from the readings and photos of the visit — nobody writes it.

Before you start

When a technician completes a pool, the service report already exists. It is assembled from what was recorded during the visit — nobody writes it afterwards and nobody presses send.

What is in it

  • the readings that were taken,
  • what was added to the water,
  • the before and after photos, with the time drawn onto them,
  • the checklist items that were ticked,
  • the technician's note, if there was one.

Good to know

It goes out in the customer's language, not yours. See languages.

The technician does nothing. There is no button and no tap. There used to be a seventh step in the visit with Notify via WhatsApp and Notify via Email buttons; once sending became automatic, the message was already with the customer before the technician saw that screen, so the only thing those buttons could do was send the same thing twice. It was removed after the first test round.

A failed send never costs the visit. If the message cannot go out, the visit data is saved regardless. The failure is recorded — see delivery channels.

What it does not do

The report is not an invoice and carries no prices.

It cannot be edited before it goes. What was recorded is what is sent — which is the point of recording it at the poolside.
